Tell me a bit about yourself!
My name is Agnes Muljadi and I'm Los Angeles lifestyle photographer and newborn prop maker :) I was born in Indonesia and grew up as a classically trained dancer. I danced with a few ballet companies in the Pacific Northwest. Then I completely fell in love with photography and decided to become a full time photographer.

What do you like to do when you have free time?
I love to read, take my ballet classes, spend time with my fiance, see a ballet performance or theater & hunt down our local kimchi fries food truck lol.

Favorite Movies
I don't really go see tons of movies but I recently saw Super 8 and loved it. Other favorites: Inception, A beautiful mind, Finding Neverland, Howard's End, and lots of independent movies.

When did you start your business?
I started my photography business in August 2009 in Seattle before relocating to Los Angeles & I just recently launched my newborn prop store mid April this year.

Is there anything in particular that sticks out in your mind about starting your business?
Not having enough time to do all the things I wanted to do. I remember having to multi-task a lot and so I had to create a more streamlined workflow.

Time management? How do you do it? Is it a struggle? Recommendations?
YES, time management has always been a struggle for me, especially in the beginning! I put up a sheet on top of my computer monitor with a list of all of my pending editing work and prop orders. That way it's in front of me. I try to update the list daily to make sure that I stay on top of my work flow.

Vanilla!!!

If you had advice for other women in business what would it be?
Make sure you stay organized and market your business smartly. Social media platform can be a powerful tool if used correctly.

Thank you SO much Agnes for taking sometime to answer my questions so that we can all know a little more about the woman behind artsychameleon!! Make sure to stop by her pages and show her some love from Sharon Neves Photography!

Check out a few of her favorite portraits that she has taken! I love them!!
